Certified payroll, done carefully, every week.
On public jobs that pay prevailing wage, contractors must report who worked, their hours and pay, usually every week. We prepare those reports from your payroll records and track every due date for one flat monthly fee.

What we do / what you do
We do
- Prepare your weekly certified payroll reports (on Form WH-347 or the state or agency form) from your payroll records.
- Check each worker's job type and pay rate against the official wage rates for the job. We point out anything that does not match.
- Track each job's due dates and send you reminders.
- Keep an organized record folder for each job.
- Help you respond to agency correction requests.
You do
- Send us your payroll records each week.
- Review and sign the Statement of Compliance yourself, as the law requires.
- Submit each report, or give permission to submit it, following the agency's online system rules.
- Pay your workers and confirm requirements with the agency or your attorney.
No guarantees, no legal advice
Certified Payroll is an administrative report-preparation service. We are not a law firm or accounting firm, and we don't give legal or tax advice. We never sign the Statement of Compliance on your behalf, we don't process payroll or pay wages, and we can't guarantee that an agency won't find problems. You are responsible for paying correct wages and for your own compliance, so confirm requirements with each agency. Looking for license and permit tracking? See Compliance Keeper.
